i+solutions
i+solutions provides training on all major issues related to the management of pharmaceutical supplies. Our goal is to help strengthen local knowledge so that current and future essential drug programs can be implemented more efficiently, safely, and cost effectively.

For over 10 years, we have experience in developing and executing trainings, in close collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and other partners. Our curriculum covers a broad spectrum of topics and includes for example Monitoring & Evaluation and Management of Artemisin-based Combination Therapies. The scope of trainings offered is broadening each year, closely following new trends and developments in the field.

A few hundred participants from all over the world have already participated in our training-program in the Netherlands or in their own or neighboring country. i+solutions offers trainings in English, French, Portuguese and Russian language. Modules or trainings in additional languages can be developed upon request.

Participants typically include physicians, pharmacists, senior health system managers, supply chain staff and technical assistance professionals from non-governmental and governmental organizations.

Tailor-made and on-site courses
Besides our regular training-program, we organize tailor-made trainings in order to meet your specific needs.

Our regular and tailor-made courses can be organized in the Netherlands and in your own country as well. Organizing a training in your own premises can save time, cost and manpower. Besides, it will promote a high in country participation-rate and cost-efficiency. To profit from these advantages a minimum number of participants is needed. Training & follow-up (consultancy)
With the knowledge acquired during our trainings, participants are ready to make an important contribution and improve the level of quality of their organizations.

Would you like to roll-out a training-program throughout your organization or country? i+solutions offers Training of Trainers packages to ensure an efficient and successful roll-out.

Distance Learning
With the new CD-ROM and web-based training of “Supply and warehouse management course for hospitals and small-scale warehouses” we aim to reach increasing numbers of staff, in accordance to our mission to improve access to quality health care services in developing countries. By providing training, consulting, and project implementation in pharmaceutical supply chain management, we assistclients to improve their local knowledge and facilities, thus empowering them to carry out quality vital public health care initiatives at the local level.
Trainees can conduct this training at home or in the office at their own time and pace. i+ staff is providing trainers support and facilitates the graduation and delivers training certificates after on line or more classical tests.

This distance learning training treats the following subjects: General organization and management of the supply and warehouse management systems, Planning and budgeting for supply and warehouse management systems, Optimizing the medicine store, Inventory Management, Ordering, Receiving, allocating and dispensing commodities, Pricing & Waste management.

The generous contribution of the Johnson & Johnson Health Care Training Fund allowed the development of this distant learning course.

Sponsorship
We are developing a program in order to increase interest of partners in support of our training activities. At this moment, there is no possibility for i+solutions to grant funds for participating in these courses. We are a non-subsidized and non-profit organization and in establishing the courses we already attempted to keep the cost as low as possible. We suggest interested candidates to look for sponsorship from their own organization and/or other agencies in their countries such as their main suppliers, embassies, ministry of health, PEPFAR, WHO, MOH, USAID, UNICEF, GTZ, MSH, etc.
