Dear Colleagues, I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you a new short course in health supply chain mangement that we hope may benefit many of you working on health supplies in Francophone countries! French and English language flyers for this course are attached.
USAID recognizes that there is significant need for stronger supply chain management skills for health systems in Francophone Africa, but few opportunities for training. The USAID | DELIVER Project has supported extremely successful and sought-after courses in supply chain management for over a decade. Unfortunately, we have been largely limited to English language training. However, we are now launching a partnership with the renowned international NGO Bioforce and the World Health Organization to deliver a regional Francophone course in supply chain management. This will be a six day course from March 22-27 in Ouagadougou, designed to increase participants' understanding of logistics management and commodity planning and their abilities to manage health commodities.
Thanks for your attention!
Very best wishes to all,
Kevin Pilz, Ph.D.
