Since 2005, we have been a lead procurement agent for two pooled procurement initiatives under the Partnership for Supply Chain Management (PFSCM):Supply Chain Management System (SCMS), funded by USAID, and Pooled Procurement Mechanism (PPM), funded by the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis.

Considering both programmes, we have been responsible for the procurement of around US$2 billion worth of essential medicines and ready-to-use therapeutic food products. In 2014 alone, we have procured around US$700 million worth of medicines on a not-for-profit basis, guaranteeing the availability of HIV and Malaria treatments in over 60 countries.

In 2014, we procured treatments for 4,9 million HIV/AIDS patients worldwide

All these years of experience in such large scale projects have given us extensive knowledge about health products, (inter)national supplier bases and regulatory requirements, as well as relevant procurement, quality and financial regulations. Our procurement services are highly cost-effective, allowing our partners to treat more patients for less money. We work towards sustainable solutions that provide long-term benefits for our customers.
