The Role:
In the coming years, i+solutions will be working towards the identification and publication of our corporate and supply chain sustainability benchmarks: Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). This is a new role within the organization, where our new hire will have the opportunity to research, develop and operationalize sustainability data at a corporate level.
i+solutions is becoming more a data driven and optimization partner for global health stakeholders. i+ has three main areas where data is being collected:
- Upstream procurement and logistics in our PSS department (Anavisto platform)
- In-country public supply chain data in our DOS department (Medexis platform)
- In-county private supply chain data in our XS2Meds department (XS2Meds platform)
We foresee an increasing need and potential for combining data from these departments and platforms on different subjects with sustainability as a priority area. Additionally, we aim to integrate with external data sources with the ambition to optimize the end-to-end supply chain. This is a new activity within i+solutions which will be designed, developed and executed in close cooperation with other departments (PSS, MAS, DOS, XS2MEDS).
On top of this there is a desire to better measure i+solutions’ global impact (wider than sustainability alone) to upstream and downstream health supply chains as well as improving the health of people in need.
Main responsibilities
- Support the Design as well as build and implement reporting & dashboards on sustainability for the XS2Meds platform stakeholders.
- Connect data from multiple sources into one of more dashboards displaying integrated information showing a combination of historical (performance) data as well as predictive trends
- Landscape and stakeholder mapping of sustainability standards
- Support drawing a solid architecture for data integration between the different platforms.
- Design new optimization models for global health supply chains to be incorporated in new and existing projects like in the DRC, Mali, Burundi, Ethiopia (as added value).
- Design and lead data integrations with external stakeholders and systems.
- Collect and clean data obtained from third parties such as suppliers, service providers, etc.
- Together with our information architect design an overarching infrastructure to capture, cleanse and store relevant data.
- Other implementation and overall performance of the services and contract compliance.
- Design and implement a monitoring & evaluation (M&E) framework for measuring impact.
- Ensure quality, consistency and accuracy of information used in our social and environmental reporting processes.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Works closely with i+solutions leadership to develop specific strategies regarding sustainability, data optimization and reporting for DOS/XS2Meds/MAS/PSS.
- Ensure i+solutions impact measurement is state of the art.
- Research global sustainability developments and adapt them to the i+solutions organizational framework.
- Co-designs the data infrastructure needed to become a data company.
- Co-develops commercial data value propositions for stakeholders.
- Participates actively in i+solutions specific business development efforts.
- Perform data preparation for KPI tracking. Analyse and validate this data for accuracy and completeness.
- Reporting compliance: stay informed about regulatory requirements in the ESG space, to ensure our data collection and reporting processes follow the latest guidelines.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in an analytical study preferable in the field of supply chain management, innovation, information management, business administration, or related field.
- Analytical knowledge (operations research, mathematical optimization modelling).
- Able to create meaningful management information out of raw data.
- Genuine interest and enthusiasm for sustainability
- Native / near native English proficiency.
- Able to work independently (e.g. building reports), and in a team spirit (e.g. to collect data, perform testing activities, etc)
