The role

As a Manager Operational Excellence, you are the key to success in realizing projects that align with our business objectives and i+solutions’ Operational Excellence methodologies. Whether it’s Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, HR, or any other field where opportunities are identified and executed. You will be responsible for defining, preparing, and leading initiatives from start to finish. Your expertise is critical to ensuring that Operational Excellence initiatives meet objectives within the set quality, time, and budget, while effectively managing the associated risks. Making continuous improvement happen is the most important part of the job. So engaging with colleagues to solicit their ideas, propose alternative ways of working and finally convince them to change their way of working for the better is a key to be successful in this role.


  • Design, roll-out and actively manage the operational excellence and quality culture program
  • Implement an operational excellence approach by setting standards, taking out inefficiencies whilst ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and service levels
  • Act as operational excellence SPOC in cross-functional project teams / excellent stakeholder management
  • Lead the change management activities within a structured process framework according to latest practices and organizational needs.
  • Accountable for overall process efficiency and effectiveness of change processes
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure change is presented effectively
  • Support efficiency improvement by establishing a solid foundation and implementing standard way of working to sustain performance including design and implementation of proper reports/dashboard to monitor progress
  • Lead retrospectives after go-live and implement lessons learned into follow-on activities
  • Liaise and develop trusted adviser relationships with the senior management team, internal teams and external partners.
  • Run multiple initiatives with a varied complexity and audience at the same time


You are ready for a new step in your career. You are ambitious, have an improvement mindset, a great sense of responsibility and are result-oriented. In addition, you recognize yourself in the profile below:

  • A completed university education or demonstrable university work and thinking level.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant business operations project management experience and success in leading and managing complex projects in an official PM capacity, demonstrating PMO methodologies for planning, risk management and reporting.
  • Experience with working with cross-functional operational teams (supply chain, procurement, finance, IT, HR)
  • You are a role model in propagating LEAN behaviours and tools.
  • You have excellent communication skills.
  • You have good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • You have experience in facilitating and coaching teams and individuals in LEAN six sigma.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
