The Team

The QA department is a young department where you can really shape your own way of work. You will  be working with four colleagues, reporting to the QA Manager. The team is expanding due to a new and exciting project. You will be joining a dynamic and ambitious team where we are chasing goals to ensure every patient receives the right healthcare.

The role

In the role of Quality Assurance Specialist you will operate our Quality Management System in order for i+solutions to achieve our Quality Goals. In doing so you need to collaborate with other departments in order to align QA and company goals. As we are a relatively small and purpose driven organization your role is broad and touches several organizational areas from a quality assurance perspective. In this role you help the access to medicine to all that are in need of them through ensuring a continuous supply of good quality medicine.

Responsibilities

• Manage Quality Processes
• Support the organization in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Handle deviations and market complaints.
• Support on the preparation of Management Information (MI) and reports for discussion with (senior) stakeholders.
• Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Request suppliers for reference master data and screen it before entry into the system.
• Work with the procurement team to maintain a product-supplier Database for all the approved products.
• Keep accurate documentation and be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop smart and efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/ Masters degree in life sciences or any other relevant field or equivalent experience
• Experience in quality assurance within the health sector, pharmaceutical industry or
• pharmaceutical logistical service provider.
• Good understanding of quality assurance requirements and relevant regulatory/legal standers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficient in MS Office.
• Fluency in English is required, competence in Dutch or any other language is highly valued.
• Knowledge in the field of NGO’s and preferably international development or the
• humanitarian world is a plus.
• Strong affinity with the purpose and impact of i+ solutions.
