i+solutions was founded in 2005, as a training and consultancy department within the International Dispensary Association Foundation (IDA Foundation). It later went on to become an independent organization. Over the last 15 years, i+solutions has provided services that support the procurement and distribution of essential medicines, supporting governments and organizations in their quest for creating sustainable access to medicines and health products. During this history, the portfolio has been continuously expanded and the services adapted to local and contemporary needs. Today i+solutions is active in more than 60 countries in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Americas.
The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria is a major financing institution in the fight against these diseases in 140 countries. The Global Fund selected i+solutions to be its primary Procurement Agent for Global Fund principal recipients, under its Pooled Procurement Mechanism aimed at ensuring a cost-effective and efficient procurement process that meets all the Global Fund standards for a Procurement Agent. This service provides support to countries to resolve procurement bottlenecks and supply chain management challenges and facilitate timely access to pharmaceuticals and other health products.

 The Program Manager ensures projects and programs are well managed including design, stakeholder engagement, planning, active management in order to realize the program within given requirements. Also including monitoring and evaluation of projects. The PM provides input to proposals so projects are offered with realistic scopes, planning and budget. Reports to and works closely with the Director Programs and Innovation to ensure learnings and insights are incorporated in new
projects. Works closely with subject matter experts, project managers and account managers who own the client relationship like country managers and senior SC consultants.
 Program Definition & Planning: Identifies and analyses required program results, based on defined scope, quality criteria, lead time and program calculation, sets up and prepares initiation of programs, in line with the overall i+ solutions strategy and policies. Develops a standard way of managing programs and projects including: Project Initiation Documents, Project Governance, Risk Analyses, Progress reporting to steercos, etc..
 Program Management: Manages execution of programs, manages and monitors the budget based on consistency and continuity, ensures alignment and quality of program activities and takes action to optimize the program, utilizing project management methods, techniques, own expertise and experience; pro-actively informs senior management of relevant deviations from the plan.
 Program Closure: Evaluates and closes programs, identifies and analyses lessons learned, measures the impact of the program, archives program documents, in accordance with relevant stakeholders.
 Business & Propositions Development: Participates in proposal writing to ensure the project will be set-up in a realistic way. Will be involved in the approach, budgeting, planning, etc..
 Optimization: (Co)Develops, implements, optimizes and/or continuously improves work processes, techniques and systems. Ensures implementation of changes and improvements, as well as the transfer and retention of knowledge within the organization with a focus on impact on our stakeholders.
 Network and Stakeholder Management: Builds and maintains a network of internal and external stakeholders/partners, represents i+solutions (mainly in technical fora) and identifies and acts upon high-level trends and opportunities within the network.
 Management Information: Provides management with insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments of own team by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analysis.

 Masters Degree
 Experienced project and program manager, academic level e.g. in business administration or other relevant studies.
 5-7 years of relevant experience, expert in chosen thematic area.
 Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.
 Excellent written and verbal communication.
 Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
