The role

The Financial Analyst is an important contributor to our team. As we are a relatively small and purpose driven organization your role is broad and touches all organizational areas. You are part of the Finance team and you will work closely together with the other team members and functions in the organization.

Responsibilities

Timely availability of complete and accurate data. Help to ensure accounts payables and accounts receivables are controlled to Company standards and trade payables are systematically paid as per payment terms agreed with vendors.
Reviewing and booking invoices according to procedures and accounting standards,
Handling and resolving escalated Accounts Payable,
Researching and solving payment discrepancies,
Performing Month End Close activities
Preparing and submitting documentation for internal controls (maintaining deadlines and good quality),
Identifying opportunities for process improvement regarding quality and productivity,
Providing support to other accounting team members,
Playing an active role in implementing new financial solutions and tools as well as process transitions
Responsibility for a specific area of accounting (AR or AP) and performing assigned duties,
Participating in reporting and analysis process projects,
Constantly exploring better ways of executing processes

Qualifications

Bachelor level with specialization in Finance and or Business Administration
Basic understanding of principles of finance, bookkeeping and accounting
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

Behavioural component

Solid analytical
Strong planning and organization skills while organizational sensitive.
Open mindset, looking for new improvement processes, software’s etc..
Team-oriented and good interpersonal communication skills with an energetic approach.
The ability to communicate with stakeholders effectively, both internal and external;
